Abstract of Research and Education

Takumi Tagashira is an Associate Professor of Marketing at Kobe University, Japan. He earned his Ph.D. from Kobe University. His research interests include retailing, omnichannel management, and consumer social media usage. He has published papers in several academic journals, including the Journal of Interactive Marketing, Marketing Letters, and the Journal of Business Research.
He teaches courses on ‘Distribution Systems’ and ‘Business Data Analysis (Marketing)’ at the undergraduate level. Additionally, he provides research supervision for postgraduate students.

Message for students
I am passionate about exploring the marketing phenomenon and its impact on firm performance and consumer behavior.
